Tai Chi
Tai Chi, originating as an ancient martial art, has transformed into a sport and exercise. This low impact, gentle form of exercise involves a series of deliberate, flowing motions performed in conjunction with deep, slow breathing. Commonly referred to as “mediation in motion” Tai Chi seeks to balance the body’s vital energy, or qi, thereby enhancing the mental and physical health.
Shifu Mei Han’s greatest achievement with Tai Chi came before she entered a final tournament in front of 19,000 people. Her anxiety levels were high as she faced one of the greatest challenges in her athletic career. Her coach instructed her to engage her QI and find the necessary balance to perform at her best. Upon completing her Tai Chi routine, she entered into her tournament and achieved the greatest score of her career, thus taking first place and winning the gold medal.
In today’s busy environment it is important to declutter our mind and rebuild the physical and mental self-image that we require to live a positive life. The Golden Tiger Tai Chi course will have your body flowing like water and will free your mind like a spring sunny-day breeze.
